How this construction timesheet calculator works
For each day the calculator subtracts your unpaid break minutes from the span between clock-in and clock-out, then rolls the seven days into a weekly total. Overnight shifts — clocking in at 10:00 PM and out at 6:00 AM, for example — are handled automatically.
Built for construction, not office desks
Most calculators assume a 9–5 schedule. Construction crews don't work that way: split shifts, weekend punch-lists, storm callouts, and multi-project days are normal. This calculator handles overtime after any weekly threshold (40 hrs federal, 8 hrs/day in some states) and any multiplier your project or union agreement calls for.
When you're ready to stop doing this by hand
TradeLog Site tracks crew hours per project automatically, so weekly payroll and project costing stop depending on a Sunday-night spreadsheet. Foremen clock in from the field; owners see labor cost per project in real time. See how it works.
